THE JAMES BROWN INTERVIEW

Professor James Brown is a senior consultant maxillofacial/head and neck surgeon at University Hospital Aintree, Liverpool. His influential work includes patterns of invasion into bone from oral malignancy and classification of midface ablation. He popularised the internal obliaque DCIA flap for midface reconstruction and is a leading figure that developed the unit at Liverpool into a world class head and neck research and clinical unit.
